Preface
The information contained in this paper was complied from patent application number US2010/04382A1 published on February 25, 2010. Samples 4 and 5 detailed in Tables 1 and 2 of this patent application are Verretec 1280 and 1080 VerreSmooth (TM) glass fabrics produced using the proprietary GlasFab (R) manufacturing process. The other fabrics (samples 1,2, 3 and 6) are commercially available conventional 106 style glass fabrics that have compiled as an average for std 106 for the purpose of this paper
Background
PTFE coated flat glass fabric for use as cooking sheets, conveyor belts, and grill sheets have been favorably impacted by Verretec Composite Materials’ zero twist direct finish GlasFab (R) process.
Fiber glass fabric manufactured with the propriety GlasFab (R) processes and finish technologies has enabled food processors as diverse as the QSR to the prepared and frozen producers to benefit with improved quality, reduced waste and faster cooking times all without unfavorable effects either cost, taste or appearance.
